Thank you Mr. Settel for your joyful and reverent ministry! We would simply like to extend our most heartfelt gratitude to you! June 6, 2009 will be a date engraved with joy on the hearts of the mishpocha of Beth Goyim Messianic Congregation!
You undoubtedly observed with your own eyes the impossibly dry hard land into which Adonai has sent rabbi Andrew and the BGMC ministry. We were so very blessed by your gentleness, your humility, and your perseverance as we faced so many distractions and challenges that day. Yeshua was criticized because He chose to live and walk among the “sinners” to minister to their needs directly. He became accessible to a people who had been distanced and cut off from their access to the living God. You certainly walked in the footsteps of Yeshua as you literally walked and ministered among these people who needed someone to “reach into the fire” and carry them out.
It is our sincere hope that you were able to discern the work that Adonai was doing during your visit to us. The people who were gathered with us that day were experiencing Messianic worship for the first time. They are slowly coming out of occult practices, secular lives of the city streets and other various spiritually dangerous lifestyles. Truthfully, they have never been shown how to reach the Holy of Holies in worship – many of them have barely entered or brushed past the entrance gates of the outer courts. The majority of the churches in the area teach replacement theology or ignore Israel and the Jewish people altogether. The fruit of that has been bitter. Only a few weeks before your arrival, a local Yeshiva was ransacked, painted with swastikas and a cross was burned on a child’s desk. A local radio station informed us bluntly that we were forbidden to discuss Shabbat or the Biblical Holy Days on the radio. Your ministry provided an extraordinary encouragement that will endure in their hearts for many days to come. You were truthfully used powerfully by Adonai as a vessel to deliver desperately needed living water! We have already received several reports of hearts that were transformed during the concert. Some of the outstanding statements were, “I’ve never heard such powerful worship!” or “I’ve never experienced such beautiful love!” and, one of my personal favorites, “I’ve always had a love of the Jewish people, but I never had an opportunity to worship among them. I’ve been praying for many years to be able to do this! HalleluYah!” So, now you can return home with a great deal of spiritual satisfaction that you planted seeds that are already beginning to take root. We will keep you updated on the progress of the seedlings as they bud and begin to yield the sweet fruit that only Adonai can produce on HIS living true vine! We thank Adonai for sending you. We thank Him for your abundant ministry! We thank you for your faithfulness and obedience! It was an honor to serve our King shoulder to shoulder with you on that day! May Adonai bless you and your entire family one hundred fold because of your willingness to use your gifts so humbly!
In Yeshua’s love and service, rabbi Andrew Dinnerman and rebbitzen Kelly
