Hello fellow home school families,
Once again we have started up the Voice of Thunder Bowling League. We will be at the Brunswick zone bowling alley in Bellville, NJ every Monday, from 1 to 3 pm. We have gotten a superb deal price wise this year just like last year, which is seven dollars a week for three games and shoes. This league is a great chance for your home schooler’s to learn a lot of new skills, and have fun while doing it. Our league primarily consists of two "teams". One of which is the actual Voice Of Thunder bowling team that consists of bowlers in the 11-17 years old age bracket, and then we have our bumper bowlers who are in the 10 or under bracket.

Hello everyone, Sorry for the delay in updating the site but things have been very crazy around here do to the fact that this past April 7, 2009 was the Lord’s Pesach (Passover) and the following Saturday we entered into the biblical feast of First Fruits. Regardless of that, we have had some interesting outcomes this week. As you all know that upon request, three of our bumper bowlers were willing to switch to non-bumper bowling. These three that I would like to congratulate are Julia, Chris, and Sam. There first attempt not using the bumpers overall, went extremely well, even though there were a few mistakes made last week and this week, for their first time off the bumpers all three got honorable scores. Although we did see some improvement this week, we hope to see even larger improvements this coming week. Congratulations again to Chris, Julia, and Sam for taking on this challenge. Now as many of you already know, this is our third week of our Voice of thunder tournament. And I’ll tell you the competition is very close this year. Everyone has improved so much that there is definitely no clear cut winner. Now we are currently looking for first, second and third place prizes but we are not going to reveal what they are just yet. But, I will tell you all this, the prizes will be trophies and we will be making our final decisions soon. Aside from that, most of our participants are now consistently scoring well over 100 points each game. Feel free to see for yourselves and take a look at the scores that are listed below.
