SCRIPTURE: Vayikra (Lev) 23:4

 

SYNOPSIS: Sukkot is the most special time of joy. Sukkot and its true profound meaning has to do with what Yehovah wants in our hands. On most holy days there is only one thing in our hands except for Shavuot. This holy day there is four things in our hands. Why and what is the purpose? Sukkot is a prophetic holy day that if you don’t celebrate it in the last days you will get no rain.

 

LESSON 1: WHAT IS IN YOUR HANDS: Vayikra (Lev) 23:4 What is in your hands for each holy day? Vayikra (Lev) 23:5, 6, 10, 11, 14. Vayikra (Lev) 23:15-17, 21, 24, 27. Vayikra (Lev) 23:34-40 the lulav.

 

LESSON 2: UNDERSTANDING THE PALM:  Yochanan 12:13 Palm Branches. Mattiyahu (Mat) 21:6-9 Waving Palms and throwing the tallit on the ground. Rev 7:8-17 Holding Palms in their hands by the living water.

LESSON 1: WHAT IS IN YOUR HANDS: Vayikra (Lev) 23:4 What is in your hands for each holy day?

Lev 23:4  " 'These are the designated times of Adonai, the holy convocations you are to proclaim at their designated times.

Lev 23:15  " 'From the day after the day of rest — that is, from the day you bring the sheaf for waving — you are to count seven full weeks,

Lev 23:16  until the day after the seventh week; you are to count fifty days; and then you are to present a new grain offering to Adonai.

Lev 23:17  You must bring bread from your homes for waving — two loaves made with one gallon of fine flour, baked with leaven — as firstfruits for Adonai.

Lev 23:40  On the first day you are to take choice fruit, palm fronds, thick branches and river-willows, and celebrate in the presence of Adonai your God for seven days

 

 

LESSON 2: UNDERSTANDING THE PALM:  Yochanan 12:13 Palm Branches.

Joh 12:13  They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, "Deliver us!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai, the King of Isra'el!"

Mat 21:8  Crowds of people carpeted the road with their clothing, while others cut branches from trees and spread them on the road.

Mat 21:9  The crowds ahead of him and behind shouted, "Please! Deliver us!" [Greek Ôsanna (English "Hosanna") transliterates Hebrew Hosha na, which means "Please! Save [us]!"] to the Son of David; "Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai!" "You in the highest heaven! Please! Deliver us!"

Z'kharyah (Zech) 14:1-17 if the Gentile don’t celebrate Sukkot.

Zec 14:16  Finally, everyone remaining from all the nations that came to attack Yerushalayim will go up every year to worship the king, Adonai-Tzva'ot, and to keep the festival of Sukkot. 

 

Zec 14:17  If any of the families of the earth does not go up to Yerushalayim to worship the king, Adonai-Tzva'ot, no rain will fall on them.

Deu 16:14  Rejoice at your festival - you, your sons and daughters, your male and female slaves, the L'vi'im, and the foreigners, orphans and widows living among you.
