Marriage is...Perseverance and Endurance

Perseverance and endurance are essential elements of Yeshua’s relationship to His betrothed here on the earth. Yeshua demonstrated His endurance and perseverance in the face of mockers and attackers. He chose to stand in the face of the attacks for the sake of His bride. Because He did not want for the shame of sin to dishonor His bride on the day of the wedding, He endured the attacks and the crucifixion for the sake of His bride-to-be and the family He would have into eternity.

Marriage is the union of two travelers. Life in this world is a journey that is filled with various experiences. The believer must seek God so that they are equipped to handle both the joy and the pain while giving God the glory at all times. Marriage is such a journey. It connotes movement toward a place.

In Hebrew, the word persevere connotes movement toward a destination or goal with great energy and vigor even in the face of obstacles or outright opposition.

The goal or destination is unity with the Lord.

All aspects of the experiences of the marriage need to be prayerfully and faithfully approached so that the unity of the couple glorifies God and demonstrates His power over the enemy’s attempts to tear them apart.

The married couple that demonstrates unity in the face of the enemy has achieved the goal.

Therefore, from the day we heard of it, we have not stopped praying for you, asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will in all the wisdom and understanding which the Spirit gives; so that you may live lives worthy of the Lord and entirely pleasing to him, being fruitful in every good work

and multiplying in the full knowledge of God. We pray that you will be continually strengthened with all the power that comes from his glorious might; so that you will be able to persevere and be patient in any situation, joyfully giving thanks to the Father  for having made you fit to share in the inheritance of his people in the light.

Colossians 1:9-12

Perseverance in marriage relates to the giving of oneself for the well being of another at all costs. The Lord blesses those who do this.

Think about what I am saying, for the Lord will enable you to understand everything. Remember Yeshua the Messiah, who was raised from the dead, who was a descendant of David. This is the Good News I proclaim, and for which I am suffering to the point of being bound in chains — but the Word of God is not bound in chains! Why do I persevere through it all? For the sake of those who have been chosen, so that they too may obtain the deliverance  that comes through the Messiah Yeshua, with eternal glory.

Here is a statement you can trust: If we have died with him, we will also live with him. If we persevere, we will also rule with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us. If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. Keep reminding people of this, and charge them solemnly before the Lord not to engage in word-battles. They accomplish nothing useful and are a catastrophe for the hearers! Do all you can to present yourself to God as someone worthy of his approval, as a worker with no need to be ashamed, because he deals straightforwardly with the Word of the Truth

2 Timothy 2:8-15

• In the Hebrew language the word “Mo’ed”, or Perseverance, talks about moving forward with force or strength. Power or strength enables the traveler to continue moving even when something or someone blocks the Way…even when another force comes directly against traveler.

o For Yeshua’s bride, where is the journey going? What is the destination?

o For Yeshua’s bride, what are the things in this life that block “the Way”? who is opposing the bride’s journey? What power or ability does he/ or they have? What strength or power does Yeshua’s bride have to continue to move forward?

o For married couples, what is their destination? Is it exactly the same as the bride of Yeshua/ ..or are there differences?

o For married couples, what are some stumbling blocks that interfere with your journey? Who or what opposes you to prevent you from moving closer to your destination?

o In your own relationship, can you identify the starting place of your journey? What was your attitude at that time, regarding this journey…confused? nervous? confident? Feeling unprepared? Uneducated or unaware of the journey?

o In your own relationship, can you identify the road you have traveled so far? Can you identify “turning points? Can you identify stumbling blocks?

He is, and always will be a Jew. And all the Talmidim (Disciples) were Messianic Jews

Why the name Beth Goyim?

Isa 56:7  I will bring them to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples."

Mar 11:17 And He began to teach and say to them, "Is it not written, 'MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL THE NATIONS'

House = Beth in Hebrew  People or nations =all peoples Hebrew & Gentiles

hence the name of the congregation...Beth Goyim

Messianic = meaning we believe and follow Yeshua the foretold Messiah of Israel

Congregation = group of people with a similar thought process.

Beth Goyim Messianic Congregation is like the first congregation/church at Antioch. Jew and Gentile one in Messiah. So it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end. Knowing Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah is not about religion it is about faith.

Learn about your Heritage. Yeshua “Jesus” is the same always and He never stopped being a Jew. Come and get back what Hasatan “satan” has stolen from you. If you are saved you are engrafted into the Hebrew Olive Tree. Come to Beth Goyim and see things from the original “Jewish” perspective.
