Are we all part of one body or are we separate? Does each of us know what that role is? What is to happen when we fulfill that role? What happens when we don’t? Finally how did it get this way and how serious a problem are we having?

What does he mean to act like men?

1 Cor 16:13  Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. (NASB)

 

1 Timothy (1 Tim) 3:4 he must be a good manager.

1 Tim 3:4  He must manage his own household well, having children who obey him with all proper respect; 

 

B’resheet (Gen) 18:17-19 teach the word.

Gen 18:17  YEHOVAH said, "Should I hide from Avraham what I am about to do, 

Gen 18:18  inasmuch as Avraham is sure to become a great and strong nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed by him? 

Gen 18:19  For I have made myself known to him, so that he will give orders to his children and to his household after him to keep the way of YEHOVAH and to do what is right and just, so that YEHOVAH may bring about for Avraham what he has promised him." 

 

Titus (Tit) 2:6-8 self-controlled.

Tit 2:6  Similarly, urge the young men to be self-controlled, 

Tit 2:7  and in everything set them an example yourself by doing what is good. When you are teaching, have integrity and be serious; 

Tit 2:8  let everything you say be so wholesome that an opponent will be put to shame because he will have nothing bad to say about us. 

 

Titus (Tit) 2:3-5 behave the way people leading a holy life should.

Tit 2:3  Likewise, tell the older women to behave the way people leading a holy life should. They shouldn't be slanderers or slaves to excessive drinking. They should teach what is good, 

Tit 2:4  thus training the younger women to love their husbands and children, 

Tit 2:5  to be self-controlled and pure, to take good care of their homes and submit to their husbands. In this way, God's message will not be brought into disgrace. 

 

Proverbs (Prov) 31:10-31 keep this order.

Prov 31:13  ד She procures a supply of wool and flax and works with willing hands.
