2Sa 12:15 Natan departed to his house. The LORD struck the child that Uriyah's wife bore to David, and it was very sick.
2Sa 12:16 David therefore begged God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night on the earth.
Sometime sickness is a good thing. Yes you read that right. The Lord will sometimes put a pause in our life so we slow down and think about HIM. Adonai had to take King David's first son away from him to get his attention. But, the Lord is so loving that when He heals and restores things they are usually better than before.
