354 The True Armor Of God
Eph 6:16 Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of deliverance; along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God;
The armor of God is spoken of by rav. Sha’ul here in the letter to the Ephesians. Many people think it is all about worldly military equipment, as seen in the picture above. Would a trained rabbi be speaking to a baby, zealous Messianic congregation about military affairs? To tell them to take on the Roman army? To fight with weapons of this world? Or would rav. Sha’ul be speaking about garments that would have been worn by the priesthood. In this message, we will focus on the Helmet of Salvation and what it truly means to those who follow Messiah Yeshua. We look at how if this helmet is worn properly it will protect your eyes, mouth, ears, head and brain. However, if worn improperly you will be blind and unable to fight. If worn badly you will not be able to breathe properly. If put on our head poorly we will not be able to listen correctly. As you can see there is so much to understand when placing these garments of safety on our bodies. In addition, if the helmet is too big or too small it will slip off our forehead. The forehead is the key to this message. On the forehead is something very important for the royal priesthood in Torah and this is also found in the book of Revelation. Take the time to listen to this message about the Helmet of SALVATION and how to wear yours properly.
