525 that person is my brother and sister

D’varim 21:1-23

SYNOPSIS: It is time for a “Gut Check”. A “Gut Check” is; an evaluation or test of a person's resolve, commitment, or priorities. This typically is with respect to a particular course of action. For those listening to this message the “Gut Check” is in regards to the battle that lies ahead. “Gut Check”; Do I want to stand next to that person when the odds are 1000 to 1 and my life is at stake?  “Gut Check”; is that person really my brother or sister or one of the 250, 14,700 or 24,000?

SECTION 1: PROPHECY AND FULFILLMENT: Moshe Prophesied something to Y’hoshua and it did come true by the end of Y’hoshua’s time as leader. The people of Israel and the mixed multitude all agree to put the other gods in their lives away. We know from the rest of the TANAK that did not happen. Talk is cheap a it floats on the wind. Actions speak of riches that are stored in a heavenly vault. In this section we will look at hard choices of the 2, 250, 14,700 and 24,000.

SECTION 2: THAT PERSON IS MY BROTHER AND SISTER. What does it take to be real Mishpocha of Yeshua? We will take the real “Gut Check” by looking at Mitzvot 1, Mitzvot 12, Mitzvot 32, Mitzvot 21, Mitzvot 15, Mitzvot 125, Mitzvot 24, Mitzvot 110, Mitzvot 27, Mitzvot 52, Mitzvot 247, Mitzvot 348, Mitzvot 435. If you pass those tests you will be able to be on the winning team at the Valley of Armageddon.

SECTION 3: THE MID-TERM EXAM: Why do they give tests in school? Is gives both the student and the teacher information. The student will know whether they are getting the information being presented, so they can pass the class. The professor will know if the information has penetrated the brain of their student. For most of us I think we will be surprised what grade Yehovah would give us right now.

Encouragement

Deu 31:6  Be strong, be bold (courageous ), don't be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you."

Deu 31:7  Next Moshe summoned Y'hoshua and, in the sight of all Isra'el, said to him, "Be strong, be bold (courageous ), for you are going with this people into the land Adonai swore to their ancestors he would give them. You will be the one causing them to inherit it. Deu 31:8  But Adonai - it is he who will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you, so don't be afraid or downhearted."

Deu 31:20  For when I have brought them into the land I swore to their ancestors, flowing with milk and honey; and they have eaten their fill, grown fat and turned to other gods, serving them and despising me, and broken my covenant; Deu 31:21  then, after many calamities and troubles have come upon them, this song will testify before them as a witness, because their descendants will still be reciting it and will not have forgotten it. For I know how they think even now, even before I have brought them into the land about which I swore."
