565 Respect

1 Kefa 1:13-19

SYNOPSIS: Respect starts in the home. Respect must be trained into a child. Respect if not followed biblically will come to a terrible disaster for the family and those children. We are told we can’t yell at or spank our children it will leave a mental scar. When this is your thought process it is one not only demonic and secular but detrimental to anyone who comes into contact with you or your family.  For if your children don’t respect you they won’t respect others. This message is going to look at the word called respect in the WORD. What that word means biblically and eternally for each of us.

SECTION 1: THE MOST RESPECTED EVENT. Why does the Talmid Kefa speak about becoming Holy? Why does Kefa go on to speak about the sacrifice Yeshua made for our worthless way of life. One of the most amazing things I hold onto is something I respect Yeshua for the most. This event was found in these 6 words that gets my utmost respect. The words are “Do what you came to do”. Find out how this is why we should learn what respect is all about.

SECTION 2: RESPECT. We are going to take a jog through the Word of Yehovah. We are going to allow the word of Yehovah tell us what He thinks of “Respect”. One of the first Scriptures we will go to talks about hair. Learn what it means to respect the hair and I am not talking about a 1970’s movie. Learn about how a smack in a mother’s face, crayons on the back of a chair, non discipline students and parent, lead to a satanic ceremony on the capital steps.

1 Kefa 1:13-19 Understanding what true respect is all about

KEY V: 1Pe 1:18  You should be aware that the ransom paid to free you from the worthless way of life which your fathers passed on to you did not consist of anything perishable like silver or gold;

1Pe 1:19  on the contrary, it was the costly bloody sacrificial death of the Messiah, as of a lamb without defect or spot.

Respect vs Disrespect

RESPECT respect [ri-spekt]  noun

esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, apersonal quality or ability, or something

considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability:

Mattiyahu 26:36-41 This is the beginning of my respect

Mat 26:39  Going on a little farther, he fell on his face, praying, "My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me! Yet — not what I want, but what you want!"

Mat 26:41

Mattiyahu 26:47-50 the 6 words

Mat 26:50  Yeshua said to him, "Friend, do what you came to do." Then they moved forward, laid hold of Yeshua and arrested him.

Conversely

Mattiyahu 26:69-75 The loss of respect

Mat 26:75  Kefa remembered what Yeshua had said, "Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times"; and he went outside and cried bitterly.

Mattiyahu 27:26-35 True respect for what He did

Mat 27:26  Then he released to them Bar-Abba; but Yeshua, after having him whipped, he handed over to be executed on a stake.

Mat 27:30

Mat 27:35

1 Kefa 1:13-16 Understanding what true respect is all about

1Pe 1:15  On the contrary, following the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in your entire way of life;

1Pe 1:16  since the Tanakh says, "You are to be holy because I am holy."

For we must fully comprehend respect so we can grasp knowledge of the word and our eternity

SECTION 2: RESPECT

D’varim (Deut) 28:1-2 when we respect His perfect word we get this

Deu 28:1  "If you listen closely to what Adonai your God says, observing and obeying all his mitzvot which I am giving you today, Adonai your God will raise you high above all the nations on earth; Deu 28:2  and all the following blessings will be yours in abundance - if you will do what Adonai your God says:
