833 Changing won’t be hard as you imagine

 

Scripture: Kohelet (Ecc) 3:1-8 For everything there is a season.

 

SYNOPSIS: People hate to change. For when things change it takes us out of comfort zone. When people are removed from a family, the work still has to get done. But now by less people. Today we are going to look at when you make a simple change into a hard challenge, what happens next.

Ecc 3:1  For everything there is a season, a right time for every intention under heaven—

Sh’mot (Ex) 12:6-8 slaughter it at dusk.

Exo 12:6  " 'You are to keep it until the fourteenth day of the month, and then the entire assembly of the community of Isra'el will slaughter it at dusk. 

Exo 12:7  They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the two sides and top of the door-frame at the entrance of the house in which they eat it. 

Exo 12:8  That night, they are to eat the meat, roasted in the fire; they are to eat it with matzah and maror.

BUILD: H1129 בּנה  bânâh BDB Definition: 1) to build, rebuild, establish, cause to continue 2) to build a house (i.e., establish a family)

 

HOLD PLACE

 

B’resheet (Gen) 2:24 Proper biblical change brings many good blessings.

Gen 2:24  This is why a man is to leave his father and mother and stick with his wife, and they are to be one flesh. 

 

D’varim (Deut) 24:5 is to be free of external obligations.

Deu 24:5  "If a man has recently married his wife, he is not to be subject to military service; he is to be free of external obligations and left at home for one year to make his new wife happy. 

 

Ecc 3:3 

 

B’resheet (Gen) 12:1-4 Get yourself out.

Gen 12:4  So Avram went, as YEHOVAH had said to him, and Lot went with him. Avram was 75 years old when he left Haran.

B’resheet (Gen) 22:9-12 For now I know that you are a man who fears God.

Gen 22:12  He said, "Don't lay your hand on the boy! Don't do anything to him! For now I know that you are a man who fears God, because you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me."

Mat 19:17  "Why are you asking me about good? There is One who is good! But if you want to obtain eternal life, observe the mitzvot."

Change is hard enough without making it a challenge

 

Life is a constant series of changes

 

If you keep your eyes on the prize

 

If you keep your eyes on the finish line

 

Changing won’t be hard as you imagine!!!
