MESSIANIC LESSON

861 THE WORD IS OUR ANCHOR

SYNOPSIS: Hebrews 6 says: We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, YESHUA, has entered on our behalf.” We need this anchor understanding. The main reason a ship needs an anchor is to ride out storms so that it is not blown off course or into the rocks or reefs nearby. Even in a safe harbor, a ship needs an anchor so that it will not drift, hit something, and sink. Whether in the storms of life or in the harbor during the calm times of life, we all need an anchor for our souls so that we do not destroy our lives.

HASHABBAT LESSON 1: THE ANCHOR. Acts 27:29 what does the anchor do Acts 27:1-40 understanding the signs. Luke 8:22-25 Yeshua Calms the Storm. Mattiyahu (Mat) 14:22-33 He is the anchor to focus on in the storm. Yochanan (Jn) 1:1 the word is our anchor.
