Going beyond the door to be face to face

 

Vayikra (Lev) 23:23-32

SYNOPSIS: Yom Kippur is about intimacy and confession. Going beyond the veil to meet face to face with Yehovah Himself. Yom Kippur is about one goat taking away the sins of all Israel. Sounds more like the Brit HaDasha then Torah. Learn the keys on this holy day of going beyond the veil and not dying.

SECTION 1: YOM KIPPUR. Vayikra (Lev) 23:23-32 all about the day we are supposed to be on. Vayikra (Lev) 23:26-32 Yom Kippur is for the world not just in Israel

THEME 2: GOING BEYOND THE VEIL. Sh’mot (Ex) 26:30-33 The Holy Place. Entering into a place of intimacy where He will know you fully. Mattiyahu (Mat) 25:1-13 hear the cry, get ready, wait for the bridegroom, go in and be with HIM on His day. Yochanan (Jn) 1:35-36 what is one of His titles. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:3 bring the lamb close to you on the 10th day of the month. Mattiyahu (Mat) 25:1, 2, 6, 7, 10. 1 Corinthians 13:11-13 Face to Face and not die. THEME 4: YOM KIPPUR IS ABOUT CONFESSION. Vayikra (Lev) 16:21 confessNeh. 1:6. Psa 32:5.Yirmeyahu(Jer) 14:20-21 confession for rebellion. Vayikra (Lev) 23:28-29, 31. D’varim (Deu) 16:16. Sh’mot 21:29-30 torah says you can replace

Lev 23:24  "Tell the people of Isra'el, 'In the seventh month, the first of the month is to be for you a day of complete rest for remembering, a holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar.

THEME 2: GOING BEYOND THE VEIL. Sh’mot (Ex) 26:30-33 The Holy Place. Entering into a place of intimacy where He will know you fully

Exo 26:33  Hang the curtain below the fasteners. Then bring the ark for the testimony inside the curtain; the curtain will be the divider for you between the Holy Place and the Especially Holy Place.

Am I going before Yehovah like a prostitute Or a bride of the covenant

Num 12:8  With him I speak face to face and clearly, not in riddles; he sees the image of Adonai. So why weren't you afraid to criticize my servant Moshe?"

Lev 16:17  No one is to be present in the tent of meeting from the time he enters the Holy Place to make atonement until the time he comes out, having made atonement for himself, for his household and for the entire community of Isra'el.

 

THEME 3: CONFESSION IS A BIBLICAL PROCEDURE. Vayikra (Lev) 16:20-22 Yom Kippur azazel

Lev 16:21  Aharon is to lay both his hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the transgressions, crimes and sins of the people of Isra'el; he is to put them on the head of the goat and then send it away into the desert with a man appointed for the purpose.

Isa 53:4  In fact, it was our diseases he bore, our pains from which he suffered; yet we regarded him as punished, stricken and afflicted by God.
